Celebrating life!

This post  was written precisely on May 10,2012..  Reposting it again.. since it feels so good to read it even after all these years For holding me when I broke down into pieces... For being truly happy when something good happened to me... For laughing at my stupidity.. For fighting because of my stubbornness.. For being there always.. For holding hands and walking with me.... There are days when you need to fight with yourself to protect yourself, fight your insecurities to overcome them .  Everyone has some virtues and some flaws, everyone is passionate about something and fears' something. You cannot be great and awesome at everything. But do believe in the most important fact that you are in the position right now, because you are worth something. Yet an other long tiring day got over and I was just getting back home in the good old BMTC bus, It was already late and the sun had set long back itself!! I ran to the bus so I get a seat in an otherwise crowded vehicle and to my luck,the bus was not that crowded and I found a decent seat. Took my ticket,and sat back waiting to reach home and trying to catch some sleep. After few minutes when the bus reached the next stop, 2 girls got in and they were so much full of life-happy and cheerful. They were talking abt the college,tutions,labs and the other stuff which keeps them running around so they end up realizing their dreams! I was already late to the office and was running around the platforms in the Kempegowda bus stand to catch my bus. I missed my Volvo and caught the regular bus 365. To my good fortune,the bus was not that crowded and hence found a comfortable seat . There was an elderly couple almost aged more than 70 years easily sitting next to me. The traffic was too much and the bus was moving in snail pace. With my restless behavior and nothing else to do, started the conversation with them. They were simple people from a small village near Chitradurga and they had come to Bangalore for health check up. With more digging in ,they told me their story- The elderly woman who was 70 + had a tumor in stomach.and they were going to KIDWAI hospital for check up.The elderly man told that his yearly income  was around  Rs 50,000/yr if the crop gives good returns . They had already shelled more than 70,000 for this diagnosis in  Private hospitals. And they were not able to afford for this tre...

     During my childhood ,in my summer holidays,I was fortunate enough to travel to many famous temples in South India.This experience had a huge impact on me and my personality and my way of seeing life..     One such trip that was always close to my heart and which had a turning point in my life is this:      In those days,the whole idea of going to a trip with my cousins and the whole family was so much of fun and excitement!
