Battling life!
I was already late to the office and was running around the platforms in the Kempegowda bus stand to catch my bus. I missed my Volvo and caught the regular bus 365. To my good fortune,the bus was not that crowded and hence found a comfortable seat . There was an elderly couple almost aged more than 70 years easily sitting next to me. The traffic was too much and the bus was moving in snail pace. With my restless behavior and nothing else to do, started the conversation with them. They were simple people from a small village near Chitradurga and they had come to Bangalore for health check up. With more digging in ,they told me their story- The elderly woman who was 70 + had a tumor in stomach.and they were going to KIDWAI hospital for check up.The elderly man told that his yearly income was around Rs 50,000/yr if the crop gives good returns .
